The conference will focus on a key challenge for official statistics: how to remain visible, trustworthy and AI-ready in a rapidly changing digital environment.
Over two days, participants will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on the production, dissemination and use of official statistics, exploring topics such as data governance, visibility, trust and the evolving needs of users.
The programme also features perspectives from the worlds of AI, technology and digital transformation, including contributions from Guillaume Bour (Mistral AI), Didier Ongena (Microsoft) and David Smadja (Nexelen Consulting).
As AI increasingly transforms how information is accessed and consumed, DGINS 2026 will provide a unique forum to reflect on how official statistics can continue to serve decision-makers, businesses, researchers and citizens across Europe.
